In those roles he has taken multi-storey residential schemes from foundation to completion, managing the full lifecycle of complex urban developments.
As Project Director for a major UK developer, he led the scheme that secured planning consent for 769 dwellings in Dartford, a project that stands as proof of his ability to navigate the most demanding end of the planning process and convert long-dated vision into approved, deliverable housing.
Dr Thiruchelvam is the founder of Chelvaa Homes Ltd, the construction principal that delivers every Saint Christopher Homes development. At Saint Christopher Homes, he sets the technical and strategic direction of the business, ensuring every development combines engineering integrity with the long-term value the brand is built on. His leadership spans both organisations, connecting construction delivery with the commercial and residential vision that defines every scheme.
Chris has spent his career building, leading, and scaling businesses across enterprise software services, product design, manufacturing, and global supply chain. He has founded ventures from concept to market, structured multi-million commercial deals, and led multi-disciplinary teams across multiple continents.
That commercial track record is built on a foundation of service. A former member of the United Kingdom Armed Forces, Chris operates with the planning rigour, operational discipline, and leadership under pressure that military service demands. The same principles now govern how Saint Christopher Homes runs as a business.
His involvement in property began in 2004 with large-scale deal structuring and personal development projects, and has grown into a core commercial discipline. At Saint Christopher Homes, Chris leads sales and marketing and oversees operations with the management team, with a particular focus on deal structuring and strategy. He also leads sales and marketing for Chelvaa Homes Ltd, working across both organisations to ensure the construction delivery and the brand operate to the same standard.
Chetan brings a dual strength of development leadership and quantity surveying discipline, a combination that connects the commercial realities of a scheme to the decisions being made on the ground.
His career has been spent on major UK residential developments, where his work has covered feasibility, cost planning, measurement, valuations, and development oversight from acquisition through to completion. At Saint Christopher Homes, Chetan leads development strategy and cost management across the portfolio, working across both the SCH and Chelvaa Homes teams to ensure every scheme is built on a clear commercial footing from appraisal through to handover.
Shaz brings two decades of hands-on construction experience, built across some of the UK's most recognisable residential and mixed-use developments. His career has been spent at the end of the business where designs meet ground and standards are held on the detail.
At Saint Christopher Homes, Shaz leads site operations across the portfolio through Chelvaa Homes Ltd, with a focus on buildability, programme certainty, and quality. He works at the interface between the two organisations, ensuring construction delivery meets the standards the brand sets for every home.
Sam is a Chartered Certified Accountant with a career spent in the financial engine rooms of UK construction and property development. Her work covers project finance, development appraisals, cash flow across long build programmes, and the reporting discipline that lenders and investors expect.
She oversees financial planning and reporting across both Saint Christopher Homes and Chelvaa Homes Ltd, working closely with the Chairman, COO, and commercial team to maintain a single financial picture across the group.
Darshini has built her career in the operational backbone of property development. Her experience covers programme coordination, supplier management, compliance tracking, and the systems that keep multi-disciplinary projects running without losing sight of the detail.
